Citibank

As Brand Design Manager at Citibank, led design efforts across a wide range of high-profile initiatives, with a particular focus on the launch and growth of CitiBike, New York City’s bike share program that debuted in 2013 and quickly became the largest system of its kind in the United States. The design team created the CitiBike logo and brand identity, establishing a visual system that reflected Citi’s forward-thinking approach to urban mobility and sustainability. This work extended across everything from the bikes themselves to kiosks, station signage, promotional campaigns, and digital assets—embedding Citi’s brand into the daily lives of New Yorkers.

Beyond CitiBike, played a central role in developing the Olympics lockup and other global brand moments that required balancing Citi’s heritage with modern expressions of the brand. Partnered with CitiField and other marquee sponsorships to launch campaigns that built visibility, community connection, and long-term brand equity.

Work at Citi extended into website, digital platforms, and external leadership presentations, ensuring every touchpoint delivered a consistent and engaging brand experience. Oversight of the design team involved setting creative direction, managing workflows, and aligning closely with senior leadership to ensure that design decisions matched broader business strategy. Over the course of five years, this role helped evolve Citi’s brand presence in both traditional financial services and lifestyle-driven partnerships, positioning the company as an everyday part of culture, sport, and city life.
